Hello Readers!
Cosmic Viola marches on with its third upcoming release of the Princess Leia Theme on March 14th. A sweeping lyrical and highly emotive piece, it was a real joy to release this first-time arrangement for viola and piano. Here's the official youtube thumbnail:

With the record and videos done, with all but the sharing and posting left to do, I’ve been focused on moving from New West into a townhouse in the States. Yes, we relocated to Blaine (within the land of MAGA…) this past February in order my wife could take on a transformative career move. Of course, with any move comes a great deal of stress and readjustment. By now however, the dust is beginning to settle, and whilst I find myself more remote than before, I continue to commute into Vancouver for all my performances and teaching. One exciting development is my new music studio. Having already used the space to complete my latest score for long-time film collaborator Jason Mills, the space is already proving useful. With sound proof panelling, ambient lights, screens, mics, keyboards and extra work station space steadily coming into operation, I'm hoping to reign in a new phase of productivity. Although not pertinent, I’ve also ordered several posters to keep my little man-cave a place of inspiration, including one of maestro John Williams, a fabulous new design for the Empire Strikes Back, and my old 2001 Space Odyssey and Raiders of the Lost Arc posters.
With the streaming going stronger than ever I plan to bolster my online musical catalogue by working on a new project I’m entitling The Human Violist, as a reflection on the destructive new wave of fake AI music. I plan to present again a number of iconic film themes but this time touching upon the theme of artificial intelligence, and our sacred human agency in the quest for technological and explorative progress (Artemis Moon trip and Mars…). Pieces like The Nature of Daylight, Where Dreams Are Made and other evergreen pieces will feature in this new collection I hope will form up with the movement that strongly signals the absolute importance of maintaining human agency and creativity.
As to the new World War Bigfoot score, I once again delved into Sibelius and the latest version of Note Performer with a light mix in Logic pro, via a multi-pressor, to deliver Jason his music. Shortly, I'll release tracks through youtube for those interested. In the meantime, here's a poster. Stay tuned for an incoming premiere!
